If you’re looking for an interesting attraction, make a visit to Edgar Allan Poe’s grave, which is located close to the city center. A literary giant whose horror novels continue to inspire authors and filmmakers, Poe settled in Baltimore in 1831 and died in 1849. One Poe enthusiast even decorates the grave with roses and a bottle of cognac every year on the anniversary of his birthday (19 January).
